Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the provider that supplies its results. Cleveland Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those queries on its own servers. If you send a message, we receive the information in that message and use it only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services retain ordinary server-log information, including IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate patterns to operate and improve the service. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
What We Do With This Data
We use this information to operate the service, diagnose issues, measure aggregate traffic, and improve the material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links may lead to Bradley County and Tennessee records portals, Cleveland library collections, archives, and third-party search providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply to information you enter on their services. The same is true for sponsored search results supplied by an outside company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires disclosure and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
How We Protect Your Data
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or account profiles held by Cleveland Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor sent us information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Information Choices
Depending on eligibility and the law that applies, visitors can have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, or opt out of certain processing of personal data. The Tennessee Information Protection Act became effective July 1, 2025 and describes covered-business rights, a 45-day response period, and an appeal process. Because this service retains very little, a request normally involves the contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page. Cleveland, Bradley County, and Tennessee public records are outside our control, so requests about an official record must go to its custodian.
Policy Updates
Changes will be published here. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the revised policy.
